Vaadi Herbals Enticing Lemongrass Scrub Soap With Charcoal Review

Review By Gayathri
Hello Beauties,
I’m here again with another review and this time it’s a Vaadi herbals product. Yes, today I’m going to review Vaadi herbals enticing lemongrass scrub soap with charcoal in it. First of all I’d like to tell that I like Vaadi soaps. Of course there are few drawbacks but still have it’s own benefits to try them.

Coming to the Review…
What the product claims:
A specially formulated soap to truly cleanse, detoxify and polish your skin. Anti-bacterial lemongrass paired with activated charcoal, draws impurities out of the skin; leaving it clean & healthy within. On the outside, the dead cells are scrubbed off; smoothing & adding glow!
• Lemongrass: Unclogs pores. Tones, Hydrates & conditions skin.
• Charcoal: Detoxifies skin. Reveals smoother, healthier skin.

Lemongrass essential oil, charcoal powder, walnut shell powder, jojoba oil, palm oil and honey
Price: Rs.38.00 for 75g
Shelf Life: 3 years

As you can see in the pic, it comes in a green paper box like any other soap. The soap is tightly wrapped in a polythene cover which is again packed in a cover. Well, I’ll not talk if it’s travel friendly or not because it’s soap after all. :P

My Take on the Product:
This scrub soap is available online only and affordable. It is a bar which looks like a gel bar or so. One side of the bar is green colored lemongrass soap which is the major part of it while the opposite side is the brown colored scrub part. The soap smells good. Although it’s artificial I like the lemony smell. The soap part foams well and also comes long. This soap cleanses well and does not dry out skin.
Coming to the scrub side, it’s a thin layer of scrub particles on the soap which I actually didn’t like. These particles are large and harsh on skin. This layer doesn’t stay long also. On using it few times, you can see that on just touching it, the layer slowly removes. So you need to handle the soap carefully. Please do not use the scrub side directly on your body, it’ll harm your skin. When you foam the soap part of the bar, few particles of the scrub will automatically reach your palm.

It seems the scrub part is made of activated charcoal and walnut shell powder. The ingredients may be good but I think it should be gentle on the skin. So never try it on face.

• Affordable
• Ingredients are good
• Handmade soap
• Contains essential oils
• Not tested on animals
• Cleanses well
• Smells good
• Soap part is good. It doesn’t dries the skin
• Comes long

• Available online only
• Scrub part gets removed easily
• Scrub particles are harsh on skin
• Not travel friendly since it’s a soap

Ratings: 3.5/5

Will I recommend? I recommend it for the soap part and not the scrub part. It is a worth try but boo for the scrub. If I buy it, I’ll remove the scrub part and use the soap. :P

Hope you will like my Review...
