Hello Friends,

Today I am going to share my experience with Maybelline Newyork Dream Matte Powder Beige Medium. I bought this when I went shopping with my blogger friends at EA mall. My Experience with Maybelline Newyork Dream Matte Powder Beige Medium:
This Maybelline Newyork Dream Matte Powder comes in a multiple purpose case like in the upper portion the compact powder and in the lower portion The mirror and the powder puff are located. The powder's texture is very soft and less fragrance.
This compact case has a twist open system, which looks very beautiful. The Powder puff is a total waste for the money and the mirror is worth and very useful.
The powder puff is easily washable one, but once you washed it is very difficult to set this inside the pack :( . All I can say it is an intelligent idea of three in one like mirror, powder puff and compact powder in one case.
This is my first compact powder form maybelline and pricey one too, usually i won't spend much money in compacts and before I was using Viviana Pressed powder and it was pretty good almost same price. This shade Medium beige has natural coverage told by SA :( , but if I over applied slightly this looks whitish on my face :(. Also for this hot summer this powder giving only 2 to 3 hour matte look, after that my T-Zone starts looking oily, Retouch is needed after few hours. I hope for winter this will be very helpful for oily skin beauties.
I found that a slight touch up is enough if you wear a foundation under this powder, other wise it will make you look like ghost, but with Sunscreen and with some other moisturizers this powder works wonder and makes my face very fresh and bright. This also an average compact which works like a compacts which comes under 200 Rs, not worth for the price. I found rimmel is for better than this powder :p .

- Puff is easily washable.
- This compact powder works well with sunscreen lotions and moisturizers.
- Less fragrance.
- Soft texture.

- Doesn't clog pores.
My Dislikes with Maybelline Newyork Dream Matte Powder:

Usually this powder is only used to set the foundation as far as i knw & i think in this hot summer there is no powder which cn work if u have oily skin (just my opinion).. good review Radha!!
ReplyDeleteThank you Natasha... :)
DeleteYes I agree for this summer oily skin is helpless in any way...but thinking of the price it could have stay more time... My opinion :)
I think all Maybelline powders tend to look a bit chalky initially, but ultimately settles down into a flawless finish. I could try it this out because 5 hours sounds decent for my oil-mill of a skin!
