Star’s Cosmetics Translucent Powder Review
Star’s Cosmetics Translucent Powder Natural Matt Review
Translucent powder which is used in professional makeup to set the makeup is mostly applied by a best powder brush. I am a rare user of translucent powder and I mostly use compact or pressed powders to set my makeup. I know Star’s Cosmetics only after started blogging and found it has pretty affordable makeup products. They have some good eye shadow and lip liners which are good in pigmentation and quality. So, I wanted to try their translucent powder which has so many shades. I have chosen natural matt shade which seems to be the best match for my skin tone. Let us see the review in detail…

My Experience with Star’s Cosmetics Translucent Powder:
It comes in a transparent plastic container with a screw open black colour lid. Inside the package a powder applicator provided on a closed lid. In that closed lid you will see few holes to take out the powder through the powder applicator to apply. It is travel and user friendly.
The Shade, Texture and Smell:
I don’t know why they named this shade as natural matt, it is bit darker than I expected. I thought this shade will match to the lakme marble shade. But it is more on the dark orange side which is not suitable for my medium to dusky skin tone. This shade might be very suitable for warm dusky skin tone people. The texture is fine powder and it smells mild.
I was confident about the shade chosen by me “Natural Matt” which made me highly disappointed. This shade is not at all suitable for my skin tone, it is bit darker than my usual shade. The photograph shown in the picture was bright enough to dump my brain. This powder does a good job for few hours to keep your skin fresh and later it shows glow and shiny on my oily skin. If you have a dry skin you will love this powder because it delivers a good glow which makes your face lovely. I liked the glowing fact of this powder. But doesn’t keep my face fresh for long time which I need badly. Otherwise it is a good powder to set your makeup. If you are using a foundation and than this powder this will helps you to set the makeup easily because it blends so quick and easily.
You can even use a powder applicator to touch up. If you have a combination skin you can use this powder on your cheeks to make them look glow. This shade especially more on orange side and makes my skin looks more dark after some time. May be dry skin people will be impressed by this powder, but I am sure it is not for oily skin. I am planning to go back to my old gold favorite Lakme compact in marble shade which I found very comfortable in staying power and also the shade match.
My Likes with Star’s Cosmetics Translucent Powder:
- Affordable and travel friendly.
- Mild smell and fine texture.
- Easy to blend.
- Doesn’t looks cakey.
- Even out the skin well.
- Makes your skin glow.
- Dry skin people will love the glow factor.
My Dislikes with Star’s Cosmetics Translucent Powder:
- Not for oily skin.
- The holes on the lid getting stuck with powder often.
Star’s Cosmetics Translucent Powder is a good option for dry skin people who wants glossy touch on their makeup. It gives a glow and even look to your skin, if you can find your best shade match from this range give it a try…
Hope My Review is Helpful…
