Inspired by illusions, the Grand Finale of Lakmé Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2014 will be a magnificent interplay of light and color through make-up and outfits that are true to the designer’s signature style.

Lakmé Absolute Illusion will comprise of eight metallic shimmer eyeshadow monos and four limited edition nail colors. Lakmé’s trend forecast for the season is dominated by bold lustrous eyes in metallic pearl hues of Pink, Gold, Blue, Black, Starlight and Peach. Lakmé Absolute Color Illusion Pearl Eyeshadow can be used wet for a molten look or dry for a metallic finish. The limited edition Lakmé Absolute Color Illusion Nails come in four dual tone shades that are sure to be this season’s must-haves.

The rich colors of the entire collection reflect a modern style that will take centre-stage at the Lakmé Fashion Week Summer/ Resort 2014 Grand Finale. About Rajesh Pratap Singh: 
Currently based in New Delhi, Rajesh Pratap Singh belongs to Rajasthan, India. Subsequent to his graduation from NIFT Delhi, he worked in the Fashion Industry for two years before introducing his own line of men and women’s clothing in 1997. Rajesh has over the years created his unique signature style that subtly draws from his Indian roots to craft artisanal garments that stand apart due to their faultlessly clean lines, careful detailing and international silhouettes.

His work epitomizes simplicity, yet on closer look reveals his obsessive attention to detail. Rajesh’s reserve reflects in his styling, which combines the modern with the traditional in an understated design aesthetic. Rajesh is closely associated with Indian fabric mills and has had developmental and research based collaborations with several of them. Textile experimentation spans both
the very high tech as well as the low tech in the form of manpower intensive handloom weaves. Internationally, Rajesh has been showcasing his collections in Paris. He has done catwalk shows in the past at the prestigious Paris Fashion Week and is represented internationally in various niche stores. Rajesh had also undertaken costume designing for the French Opera “Padmavati by Albert Roussel”.

The opera was staged at the Theatre du Chatelet in Paris as well as in Spoletto in Italy. He was the first Indian designer to be invited by VOGUE Italy to do a show at the Milano Unica in Milan City in 2011.
