For a quick and easy 5-minute college look, I prefer to a have clear and smooth face by applying pressed powder. It gives me a clear base to work with, takes literally zero time to apply and makes touch up a breeze. I highlight my eyes with kohl and brush black eyeshadow on top to make it last 8 hours or more without fading and finish off with a liberal coat of mascara. I prefer to keep my lips neutral so that it doesn’t clash with the rest of my face. Moreover, bright or dark shades can be very high maintenance and who has the time to do touch ups during college hours. I usually forego blush on my cheeks as I am new to blushes and it takes a lot of time for me to blend them properly. So instead of risking looking clown-ish I go bare-cheeked. So 5 products, 5 minutes and I am good to go!
Products used :
Mac Careblend Pressed Powder in Medium for face
Maybelline Colossal Kajal, Loreal Volumnious Million Lashes Mascara and Bourjois Extrait eyeshadow in Black for eyes
Mac Lipstick in Touch for Lips
Since I don’t wear much lipstick when going to college, I never miss the opportunity to flaunt dark or bright shades while going out with friends. My 5 minute makeup look consists of a light layer of foundation followed by a very natural looking blush so that all the attention is focused on my lips. I tight line my eyes with kohl, highlight the inner corners and lid with a neutral matte brown eye shadow and apply loads of mascara. Winter is here and I love carrying dark, deep shades which I might not wear during summer or spring. So, the final touch…tada…..a glossy dark wine shade on my lips. With this look, I like to keep my lips in focus and thus go very easy on the rest of the face.
Maybelline BB Stick and Nyx Blush in Spice for face
Maybelline Colossal Kajal, Maybelline Hypercurl Mascara and Mac eyeshadow in Soft Brown for eyes
Colorbar Lip pot in Yummy Plummy for Lips
Hope you loved both looks…
