Lotus Herbals Purestay Nourishing Foundation SPF20 Hazelnut Star Review & Swatches

Hello Beauties,
Today I am going to Review Lotus Herbals Purestay Nourishing Foundation SPF20, which is my current favorite foundation for my extra oily skin. I am fond of foundations very much which can make my face look fresh and bright. Well, I am still looking for a perfect foundation with a perfect shade :p. For time being this foundation has stopped me from that search. Let's see the Review...

Ingredients:
Not mentioned (Shhhhhhhh it is secret :p )

My Experience with Lotus Herbals Purestay Nourishing Foundation:
Packaging:
Lotus Herbals Purestay Nourishing Foundation comes in a long sleek cylinder like plastic bottle with metallic pink colour pump dispenser. I like the package very much, but the pump dispenser isn't working properly and sometimes it is getting stuck and dispensing the foundation will be a big problem. Somehow I don't feel this pump dispenser is convenient to use, it could be more better for the price. There is no cap cover which is not so hygienic.

Shade, Texture and Smell:
Somehow I feel this Hazelnut star shade is very unique for most of the Indian skin tones. This shade suits for NC40 skin colour and at the same time it suits for NC45 too. I have read a lot of reviews about it and most of the beauty bloggers used this shade and reviewed. This shade suits for my skin tone very well, I am NW43 and in Lakme my shade is Shell.
The Texture of the foundation is creamy and very thick. I thought it will be difficult in blending this foundation when I saw the texture first. Later, my opinion was totally wrong when I started to blend this foundation on my skin. Yes, it melts on the skin when you start to blend on your skin. I prefer fingers especially for this foundation, because the texture is very thick and it needs a little extra pressure, where a soft brush cannot do this.

The Smell is a bit heavy and it is lovely fragrance, I like it.

My Experience:
I didn't expect that this foundation will help my oily skin looks fresh for very long time. Yeah!!! I was like wow I got my HG foundation, I feel very happy whenever I use this foundation. It is easy to bled on my skin by fingers. It gives medium coverage to my face and completely hides my minor flaws on the face. This foundation gives a slight dewy finish, but I never feel heavy or greasy on my face even after 5 hours. But, after 5 hours my T-Zone gets shiny and oily and needs slight touch ups.
This is an awesome foundation which looks fresh and when I return from the outing still my face looks fresh other than the T-Zone (This area really sucks) . The another beautiful thing with this foundation is it doesn't feel heavy or looks cakey on the skin,it looks very natural in the photos too. I was suspecting that this foundation will oxidize beause it has SPF 20, but it is completely wrong. I am super happy with this foundation, I will continue to use it until I get bored :p.

My Likes with Lotus Herbals Purestay Nourishing Foundation:
  • Best for Oily skin Beauties.
  • Doesn't clog pores.
  • Never break out me.
  • Doesn't oxidize.
  • Has SPF 20
  •  Blends on the skin very well.
  • Doesn't feel cakey or heavy on the skin.
  • Stays upto 5 to 6 hours.
  • Medium coverage but buildable.
  • This Hazelnut star shade is suitable for fair to medium skin tones.
  • Nice smell.
  • Photographs well.
  • Gives a slight dewy finish, but no oily feel.
  • Suitable for all skin type.
  • No Preservatives added :)
My Dislikes with Lotus Herbals Purestay Nourishing Foundation:
  • I cannot say it is travel friendly.
  • I cannot say it is affordable.
  • They should improve the package.
  • Dry skin may need good moisture base.
  • Ingredients???
Final Verdict:
Lotus Herbals Purestay Nourishing Foundation will suits for all skin type and stays for long time. It gives medium to buildable coverage and blends easily on the skin. So, get one for you and enjoy Girls.

Hope My Review will be helpful for you all...
