Product Description:

My Experience with Rimmel London Stay Matte Foundation:
Rimmel London Stay Matte Foundation is coming in a cute square shaped tube, with a scroll type lid.
Pretty compact tube so easily I can carry with me, travel friendly.
The foundation cream texture is very runny liquid almost like Lakme liquid foundation; the smell of the Rimmel London Stay Matte Foundation is not so pleasant. (Might be annoying for some beauties)
I had great expectations with this foundation, as the Rimmel London Stay Matte pressed powder was pretty good for me. I have chosen 300 Natural beige shade (my MAC shade no NW43, but I am not sure of this)I have tried this foundation in the night first time; it was ok for me that time. The texture of this foundation is very smooth to blend on the skin very naturally without any extra effort, but I have to work with this foundation very quick as this is tend to dry up quickly on the skin.
I have tried this foundation both with fingers and with a foundation brush, It blends and spreads on the skin like butter. But, I have super oily skin and it is summer season, so my skin is just helpless with this foundation. This gave a dewy finish, which I don’t like totally and makes my skin super glowing and oily even if I covered it with pressed powder.
Here is the Picture I am wearing this foundation without covering by pressed powder:

But there are no breakouts and any allergic reaction, this is very light foundation but the matte claim is totally wrong. For oily skin it won’t work out as a matte foundation, because it making the face glow and oily within half an hour for me (may be because of summer, but I am sure this won’t help in the matte expectation).

My Likes with Rimmel London Stay Matte Foundation:
  • Natural ingredients in a foundation.
  • Will be best foundation for Sensitive Dry skin.
  • Moisturizing very well.
  • No dry patches problems and not shows whitish on face.
  • Very good shade choice.
  • Goodness of Cucumber, Chamomile and Cotton.
  • Blends very easily on the skin, leaves the skin smooth.
  • Light weight formula, no heavy feel on the skin.
  • Covers minor blemishes and marks on the face.
  • Dewy finish with subtle glow and Natural look.
  • Medium Coverage.
  • Does brightens the skin.
  • No allergy or breakouts.
My Dislikes with Rimmel London Stay Matte Foundation:
  • This is totally not for oily skin beauties.
  • The claim of matte for 12 hrs is totally gone wrong for me.
  • The scroll type lid is not comfortable excess amount may spill.
  • Made me very sweaty and oily L
  • Doesn't control oil L
  • Totally not for summer.
  • Availability.
  • The smell, some may not like it.
Final Verdict:
I highly recommend this Rimmel London Stay Matte Foundation for dry skin, combination skin and sensitive dry skin people. A big no for super oily skin people in this sweaty, hot Summer.
PS:I have kept this foundation in my kitty for trying again in the winters.
